So when we spotted that he has just announced a series of shows we jumped on our credit cards and ran for the computer!

We saw him about 10 years ago and he was just so fabulously funny that we vowed to see him whenever we could. Of course we never have as we have never noticed his show dates until they had all sold out! So we were all excited like a pair of kids today when we saw the advert for his shows. I have just been to the Hammersmith Apollo website to buy the tickets. Now, did we want the stalls or even the dress circle?

I am very sad to say I have closed the page down as we just can't afford to pay the stupid price they are asking. The cheapest ticket was £108 pounds!!!!!!!! I know he is a pure genious and I love him and want to have his babies but I will not pay that kind of money EVER to sit in a theatre!

I have been having the most awful dreams this week and I mean awful dreams. How odd are dreams though when you think about them. It's like your brain has gone into scramble mode and just juggled everything it's seen or heard over the last 10 zillion years and just chucked it back at you while you sleep. Odd!

The dreams this week are more like nightmares. I tend to have dreams that are kind of real. I dream of things that have actually happened but that I don't yet know about. Does that make sense?! So now I wake up and tell hubby what I have dreamt and when whatever it is happens I tell him "see, I told you". Now this is all well and good but it can sometimes freak me a bit. These are premonition type dreams. So, this week I have been put off doing a few things due to these dreams.

OK OK don't send for the nice men with those lovely jackets complete with zips and buckles just yet.....

I am still in shock as to why but I won't knock it as I have enjoyed every second of it. In order to keep the peace I asked the son if he fancied coming to Tescos with me. He did! He was warned in advance not to keep asking for stuff and not to fill the trolley up as we went round. He is very good at slipping stuff into the trolley you know, as most teenagers are I'm sure.

Seeing as how he is not wearing a school uniform now that he goes to college he needed a pair of black trousers and black shoes. They need to wear these when they go out to visit official places during the course. So I suggested a cheap pair of black trousers and shoes from Tescos. He agreed...shock, horror!! We found the trousers and then a really nice pair of loafers and he liked them both. I was on a roll here as we still hadn't fell out. He tried the trousers on...bingo! they fitted and off we went to pay. Now being Tescos they were never going to cost the earth but the lady rang up the 5 pack of socks, the trousers, a necklace I had got for a friends birthday at the weekend and the shoes. Total: £23.79

We both looked at each other, I paid and we made a hasty retreat to the car!! The shoes were marked up at £20 and rang up as £5 Now that is what I call a result eh as the shoes are all leather too!!!

The best thing is that the son just loves these shoes....

I am totally into it and am loving the fact that I am making something and can see the end product. I have only been practising really but now feel I am ready to sell my handmade things. Steady on, don't all excited just yet dear reader....I am only making tote bags and little purse type things. Remember, I am the sewing phobic who didn't know one end of a sewing machine from the other. I am getting confident now and even sewing without a pattern...whoo hoooo!

A friend asked me to make a nice bag for her friend who was expecting a baby. I was thrilled to have been asked and I have to say, I was really happy with the end result. I didn't charge her anything as I was happy to make it and the material cost me nothing either.

Another friend said jokingly that she needed a new peg bag with a loooong handle. I made her one for her birthday. She was delighted with it and has told everyone about it and me and my making.

So how do I sell these things?? A website? A shop on ebay? I have no idea but would be grateful for any hints and tips anyone may have! I am looking out for craft fairs at the moment what with Christmas fast upon us!

I have been having this loooong conversation, in my head, about people just being addicted to things. Look how many of us can't live without chocolate or their ciggies. Me, I'm totally addicted to food therefore I am sure I shall never loose weight!

It's all about changing your mind set. I was hypnotised about 6 years ago by our very own Paul McKenna. I had a huge problem with crisps. I couldn't stop eating them. At that time I would rather have eaten 20 bags of Walkers cheese and onion than a meal and often did do just that!

I don't know how it worked but it did and I have not eaten a crisp since. For that I am really happy. I now see a crisp and just can't even get motivated to dive on it and eat it. Paul McKenna uses Neuro Linguistic Programming. This kind of alters your mind set. It's all amazing stuff, very interesting indeed.

I shall have a headache now getting all deep at this hour of a Sunday!

This week has been so eventful that I don't even know where to start. I have been in bed and snoring, before 10pm most nights and at meetings most evenings. It's parent consultations at the moment and boy have I had my ears bashed. Then again, so have some parents from me so that's fair enough

I stayed the same at the Fat Club this week and so now, out of pure frustration I have given the diet a real go and hope to have lost at least 5 stone this week when I go and get weighed in. I did cheat last night and had a great big fat, greasy kebab and chips....oh it was just what I needed too. Well, at least the meat was fine for a red day

I am amazed to have been popping in here and to see what has been going on for everyone! Some of you have had some real sh17 going on. I hope it all gets sorted out SOON!

Today, well today, it's all housework and washing I don't have anything clean to wear to just slop about in today. I feel like a bag lady. I am having to resort to wearing purple...a colour that does not suit me, I feel uncomfy wearing and the worrying thing is, what on earth made me buy it in the first place?!?!?! Worrying eh!

Laters!!

Major new chances are afoot and the natives are restless....very restless actually. I spent about 2 hours in a meeting yesterday trying to get my head around the new-timetables-and-places-to-be-and-what-to-do-and-how-to-do-it kind of stuff. Flippin' Norah, my head is still spinning. Then of course things were discussed that some didn't want to discuss and they got shirty and then someone else decided they were going to shout their mouth off. You know the kind of meeting? So today, hardly anyone is talking to each other.
Can you believe that!!!

Mickey, as he has been named, seems to have been living the high life in the kitchen for a few weeks now. The dog is so daft I doubt he even noticed it or them. I went into the kitchen last week and there he was, sitting there looking at me. We both just looked at each other. I blinked and he was gone. I wasn't sure to be honest if I had actually seen this mouse or my last coffee was a tad too strong!

A few days later there he was again and this time hubby and I both saw it together. Oh my goodness, what to do! I went out and got one of those sonic sound signal things that you plug in to the wall. The sound is so high pitched that dogs, cats and humans are unable to hear it. Mice hear it and run away....but oh no, not Mickey!

The next day bait was put down. It was all eaten and they even come back for seconds.

The day after that mouse traps were used. Now I have to say I laughed so much at hubby putting ham on the traps (heaven only knows why he used ham though!) and watching it fly off and the dog chasing it thinking it was Christmas come early. Hubby was not amused as by now he had several very sore fingers and his temper was starting to get the better of him. My laughing didn't help matters!

This morning saw Mickey in one of the traps

I didn't like that at all and in fact it rather upset me!

I was instructed to buy 2 more traps on the way home today and so who knows what will happen overnight in the Mouse House
