Do you remember when you used to drive up the motorway or even drive up the local roads and you would always spot a lonely shoe?? It would be just laying there, all lost and alone missing it's other half. I always used to have this thought in my head that it belonged to someone who was completely tiddled, and that they had lost it en route home from the pub. Who knows! These shoes just appear but oddly enough, they always seemed to be a mans lace up shoe or a trainer.

Nowdays it seems that the thing to leave in the street is a mattress. Yep, honest it is. A mattress, bed base or a quilt seem to be the most popular items to be dumped wherever. Isn't it awful?! I have this vision of some kids either coming along and putting a match to the lot, or of a tramp kind of person coming along and snuggling down for the night.

Why are people too lazy to take their old bed, mattress or quilt to the local council dump!?!??! Honestly, it makes me cross. This all clutters up out streets and makes them look really shabby not to mention the hazards to pedestrians.
