Wow, what a busy weekend!

Friday night saw me out on the lash with about 30 others from work. We invaded a very nice Turkish restaurant and tried to eat our way through a good old Turkish meze. Goodness me I think they thought we all needed fattening up. The only thing I can't cope with is the red mullet. Why oh why does it have to come served with it's head on? That eye is always looking at me and I just can't cope with it. I think we ate everything else they put infront of us though so that wasn't bad going. Nearly forgot to mention that we tried to drink the place dry too but we all fell by the wayside before that happened. I arrived home about midnightish and promtply fell asleep on the sofa while talking to the dog. I had probably bored him rigid too as he was fast asleep beside me. I don't actually remember any of this but I was reminded of this by the spy called "son" who lives here.

Yesterday saw us all put on our finest and attend the wedding of a very close cousin who we never thought would ever get married. I can't remember the last wedding we attended so it was extra nice especially as it was a family member getting married. Sadly there have been far too many funerals to attend of late in our family and at last we were having a happy occassion!

The Bride looked radiant and just so beautiful. She wore a very simple dress, nothing over the top but just right. I cried but then I cry at the adverts so nothing new there. Even Mr Mouse cried a little too as it was just a perfect service. It was lovely to catch up with everyone who I've not seen for a while and catch up with the news.

Mr Mouse decided that seeing as it was a wedding it was a good idea to to drink lots of lager....ooooh and I mean lots! When the men within the family get together they normally get down to what men do best. Talk football, talk football oh and talk football so you can imagine can't you! We arrived back at the reception around 4.30pm and the bar was open....tally hoooo!! I did remind him about 6pm that the night was young and to slow down a little. Did he listen? Nah, nor did the other fellas. One guy fell asleep at 7.30pm while sitting on a bar stall. No, he didn't stay on the stall for very long and the floor soon welcomed him with a bang. Mr M decided at some point to sneak off to the car for a sneaky sleep. I found him at 9.30pm completely dead to the world and as I opened the door of the car he promptly fell out! :**:

You can imagine what kind of a state he was in this morning can't you?? U-( :))
How I enjoyed running the hoover round the house :))
