I think North London/Herts had a real layering of snow today. At 5.30am there wasn't a flake to be seen but by 7am it was coming down very heavy and had settled on the roads and the roofs were white. I was due to drive to Oxford today to meet some friends but I chickened out due to the snow. Instead the whole family got up and went up the fields with the dog and played snowballs and made a snowman. We were there at 8am and so most of the snow was virgin snow.....don't you just love sloshing through it and hearing that wonderful sound of crunching? It was so lovely and I just wanted to share my snow with you all.
