  • When I win the lottery....

Do you sit and dream about winning the lottery? I do and when my very active mind gets going I would know how to spend the lot in under a month I think.

I know I would go right out and buy myself a lovely new car....but I can't think of what one I would buy. Isn't that silly! I know what I would want now but if money were not a worry just what would I buy? Porsche? Yes possibly! I know I would treat Mr Mouse to a rather nice 4x4 for him and the dogs too. A new house? Yes, of course, complete with a weekend cottage somewhere deep in the country. Oooh bliss but where?!

It's all OK saying what you would do if you won the lottery but it would be so easy to buy the wrong thing just because you had the money there waiting to be spent. You would make sure your parents are comfortable with everything they wanted. Sort the brothers and sisters out by perhaps paying off their mortgages or even giving them money to enable them to move too. Put some money in trust funds for neices. The list goes on and on.....

    If only........U-(

  • Up and down until they're clean and sparkling

I decided that it was time to change our toothbrushes so tracked down some nice looking brushes at a reasonable price (buy one get one free!) and also got the brushes that had the right colours for the family. Colours are very important in this house you know....pink for Mummy Mouse, blue for Mr Mouse and any other colour for Master Mouse. Master Mouse will just pick up any brush and use it. Well actually when I inspected the old brushes I think he has hardly used hish! What is it with boys....water, soap and toothbrushes don't just seem to come high on their list of things that are needed to be done everyday!

On the first use of the new brush I was rather surprised by the very odd feeling of the tongue cleaner on this brush. I don't think we have ever had brushes with such a thing on the back so it was a little bit of a shock to have this weird feeling going on in my mouth! Not only does the tongue cleaner clean your tongue but it also takes the coating off the insides of your entire mouth too if you're not careful! 8|

2 days later and Master Mouse still has not commented on the new brush....so I think I can safely say he hasn't used it yet! Boys! U-(

  • Mutiny in the toilets!

The ladies have all noticed and have complained in no uncertain terms. The toilet paper is not up to it's normal nastiness and if it's at all possible, it has gone from not too good to down right horrible! We have all decided that the new paper is a cross between tracing paper and Izal. Remember that nasty scratchy stuff from your childhood? Has anyone listened to our pleas? Nope!

Today saw a very indepth conversation over lunch as to what was going on with the paper. We asked the men to go and retrieve a sheet or two of theirs and the ladies did the same. Guess what we found?! The men have the better paper!!! That didn't go down too well I have to say. Even the Executive suite (the disabled toilet) has the good stuff too.

War was declared. Afterall, we all seem to use Andrex Quilted at home so this really nasty rough stuff is a little bit of a shock to our delicate areas! The boys told us that they don't use the paper as much as we do....Hmmm, not too much to say to that is there! 88|:))

The ladies found a copy of the TES laying in the staff room and have now cut it up into squares, put a hole and some string through it and have hung it in the Executive suite in protest.

I wonder who will be the first to notice.......

  • Is there a Doctor in the house?

OK so this computer of mine has decided to play silly buggers and won't let me go to the places I like to frequent. It is soooo annoying you know! So I have been off and dumped cookies, dumped temporary files and defraged, still no good. What's a girl to do??

    Answers on a postcard please......:'(:**:

  • Trials and tribulations.....

It's official.....I'm well and truely brassed off >:-(

Hands up who else is having problems getting onto other websites today? I can't get onto any of my regular sites. Do you think I've been banned? Ooooh 'er! I go to these particular sites and just get timed out and then a page telling me the site isn't there or is having problems. I've dumped my cookies and temp files too and even went mad and defragged the machine but it's still doing it! Grrrr....>:XX

I think I would like a face mask that looked like that page. You know, so people would know I was having a very "off" day just by seeing the page and would then leave me to be tetchy alone! You know that feeling? :DD

I think that on my travels last week I got a bite just below my ankle. I remember it itching at the time and it has hurt a little bit ever since. In fact, it kept me awake that night. Today I am in a fair bit of pain but I can't see any nasty yellow stuff pouring out of a wound or a red poison line running up my leg. All that said, I do think that perhaps all isn't well and my heel is a bit red and sore to the touch....maybe a visit to see the doc tomorrow? I shall see how it is tomorrow morning.

Oh well, Glastonbury is now officially over...I so want to go next year! Hope you all have a great week :>>

  • Glasto 2008

    I want to go!!!!!
I say this every year and yet have never been. It's been a very near miss the last few years for me though. My bestest friend in the whole wide world Liz has been going each year and working as a steward. She had the most fun last year that anyone can possibly have while being stuck in the mud. In fact, she said that year that she wasn't going to go this year. Guess where she was when I called her Tuesday? Yep, Glasto! She changed her mind right at the last minute and went complete with tent and baby wipes to wash with.

I always watch it on the telly and just enjoy it so much that I always say "next year I'm going" and to that Mr Mouse always says "well go with Liz then" and that's how it's left. So, I have SKY+'d most of it so I can watch it in peace when everyone goes out. Mr Mouse has never heard of half the acts and the son tells me I'm too old to want to watch it. Charming eh!! I saw Jimmy Cliff last night. Did that bring back memories or what! He was great. Tonight I have seen Amy and she looks like she may be starting to get it back together again....thank goodness! That girl has so much talent but she is just wasting it along with herself.

So, this time next year I may, only may, be at Glasto enjoying the music!

  • Floating on by

Don't you just love clouds? You know, those white fluffy ones that seem to melt around the edges as you look at them.

I have been laying out in the garden today bronzing the old body and just looking up at the odd white fluffy cloud that came floating by. They constantly change and sometimes they make patterns, sometimes they look like something familiar and sometimes they just busy themselves with looking pretty.

  • Do not adjust your television

I'm here but I'm not if that makes sense?

I am a seriouslybusy bunny at the moment and just don't have much time to call my own. Well actually the time I have to call my own is when I fall asleep when I get in from work. Don't you hate that?  I always  wake up all confuddled and confused and don't know who I am or where I am for a moment or five.

Sooooo, stay tuned folks....normal service will resume shortly. Well OK, normal for me service will resume shorty!

  • Carry on folks, I'm just amusing myself.....

    Yep, I'm having a fiddle!
Seems once you have been converted to Beta there are a few more designs to play with. Well, what I mean is, I think there are at least. I just can't stop myself you know, when it's there to be fiddled with, then I just have to do it.

Ok at the back there, settle down will ya! I dunno, all these bloggers with their minds in the gutter

  • Wind and the barbie.....

    Wow, what a windy day!
I took full advantage of the wind and hung out 2 machine loads of washing. It was dry in no time at all. Today has been a perfect drying day. I quickly put in my third load of the day and waited for it to be done. This load was the bed linen off our bed. We have a super king size bed so there is lots of bed linen when it comes to hanging out. When it was done I managed to get the pillow cases and bottom sheet hung out with no problems. The duvet cover was another story. As I was fighting with it there was an almighty gust of wind that blew the cover out of my hand and up the garden! 88| "Oh no!" were my first thoughts closely followed by "I'm gonna have to wash that again now" as I went to retrieve the cover from the side and roof of the shed! By time the sheet had washed again next door were having another of their barbies....needless to say I didn't hang it out to get smothered in the smell of cooking.
I hate that smell on my freshly laundered stuff soooooooo much! >:-(
