:)):)) Ha ha, that made you look didn't it and no, I am not offering any either!

    Hello dear faithful reader

Goodness me, where does the time go? I remember going back to work in September and then kind of disappearing up my own @rse at a really alarming speed. The whirlwind that is me has managed to keep the momentum up and when I last looked I was still stuck in the land of the dammed, tied to my desk and marking books. Goodness I must have been really evil in a previous life :??:

What has happened since I last blogged? Well, there are the planners planning all sorts for the house at the back of me, the tumble drier is on it's last legs and may only just last another day. The sewing machine is going well and my secret material stash is growing by the day :>> The dog still smells of eau de pond and will insist on laying over my lap when soaking wet. :-/

In other words....I need to get a life!

Anyone know where one can purchase such things?

  • So disappointed

Now me and hubby just adore Billy Connolly. So when we spotted that he has just announced a series of shows we jumped on our credit cards and ran for the computer!

We saw him about 10 years ago and he was just so fabulously funny that we vowed to see him whenever we could. Of course we never have as we have never noticed his show dates until they had all sold out! So we were all excited like a pair of kids today when we saw the advert for his shows. I have just been to the Hammersmith Apollo website to buy the tickets. Now, did we want the stalls or even the dress circle?

I am very sad to say I have closed the page down as we just can't afford to pay the stupid price they are asking. The cheapest ticket was £108 pounds!!!!!!!! 8| I know he is a pure genious and I love him and want to have his babies but I will not pay that kind of money EVER to sit in a theatre!

We are both sulking now :(

  • Kids eh!

The son has not ventured out of the house once this week except for when he come shopping with me. He has stayed in bed more or less all day. He has not showered, cleaned his teeth or changed his clothes apart from his one outing with me. He stinks....his dad is hopping mad about it all. I am trying to stay calm and not make a big fuss about it all. The more fuss that's made the more he loves the attention.

Am I right to be concerned?

    He worries me so much!

  • Dreams

Today is a new day....and one that I don't feel too comfy with.

I have been having the most awful dreams this week and I mean awful dreams. How odd are dreams though when you think about them. It's like your brain has gone into scramble mode and just juggled everything it's seen or heard over the last 10 zillion years and just chucked it back at you while you sleep. Odd!

The dreams this week are more like nightmares. I tend to have dreams that are kind of real. I dream of things that have actually happened but that I don't yet know about. Does that make sense?! So now I wake up and tell hubby what I have dreamt and when whatever it is happens I tell him "see, I told you". Now this is all well and good but it can sometimes freak me a bit. These are premonition type dreams. So, this week I have been put off doing a few things due to these dreams.

OK OK don't send for the nice men with those lovely jackets complete with zips and buckles just yet.....

    xx

  • Bored already today

Despite having so many jobs to do I'm bored!

So much am I bored that I have just gone "shopping" on the internet. So far I have got myself a new telly for the bedroom and a lovely little mini netbook for slipping into my new designer handbag that I saw too! I may of course have to buy those shoes as they are "so me" and how could I not buy that sweet little designer dog collar for my poochie baby.

OK so now where did I leave hide those credit cards....

  • Thursday and I am being sooo lazy!

So here we are, Thursday is upon us and half term is more or less over. I had lined up soooo many projects for me to attend to. Tidy up the back bedroom, tidy up my shoe collection, sort out all my "big" clothes, take in some clothes that are now too big, put some new zips in trousers that will now fit me!

    What have I done? :??:

    Nothing! :P

    Do I care??

    Nope!

    :))

  • My name is Missy....

...and I just can't say no to food!

I have just eaten far too many slices of toast complete with lashings of butter and strawberry conserve

    Did I enjoy it?

    You bet I did XX(

  • More tea vicar?

I lost 2 and a half pounds this week at the fat club!!!

I have put on and lost so much weight since joining the club that I was begining to think the only way to keep the weight off was to amputate a limb.

So this week I am living on home made vegetable soup to hopefully make a big loss again next week.

Gosh it's turned windy all of a sudden *parp*

    :))

  • A shopping delight

Yesterday saw a very unusual calmness come over the Mouse House! I am still in shock as to why but I won't knock it as I have enjoyed every second of it. In order to keep the peace I asked the son if he fancied coming to Tescos with me. He did! He was warned in advance not to keep asking for stuff and not to fill the trolley up as we went round. He is very good at slipping stuff into the trolley you know, as most teenagers are I'm sure.

Seeing as how he is not wearing a school uniform now that he goes to college he needed a pair of black trousers and black shoes. They need to wear these when they go out to visit official places during the course. So I suggested a cheap pair of black trousers and shoes from Tescos. He agreed...shock, horror!! We found the trousers and then a really nice pair of loafers and he liked them both. I was on a roll here as we still hadn't fell out. He tried the trousers on...bingo! they fitted and off we went to pay. Now being Tescos they were never going to cost the earth but the lady rang up the 5 pack of socks, the trousers, a necklace I had got for a friends birthday at the weekend and the shoes. Total: £23.79

We both looked at each other, I paid and we made a hasty retreat to the car!! The shoes were marked up at £20 and rang up as £5 ;D Now that is what I call a result eh as the shoes are all leather too!!!

The best thing is that the son just loves these shoes....

  • Any ideas folks??

My sewing is going from strength to strength...I think!
I am totally into it and am loving the fact that I am making something and can see the end product. I have only been practising really but now feel I am ready to sell my handmade things. Steady on, don't all excited just yet dear reader....I am only making tote bags and little purse type things. Remember, I am the sewing phobic who didn't know one end of a sewing machine from the other. I am getting confident now and even sewing without a pattern...whoo hoooo! :))

A friend asked me to make a nice bag for her friend who was expecting a baby. I was thrilled to have been asked and I have to say, I was really happy with the end result. I didn't charge her anything as I was happy to make it and the material cost me nothing either.

Another friend said jokingly that she needed a new peg bag with a loooong handle. I made her one for her birthday. She was delighted with it and has told everyone about it and me and my making.

So how do I sell these things?? A website? A shop on ebay? I have no idea but would be grateful for any hints and tips anyone may have! I am looking out for craft fairs at the moment what with Christmas fast upon us!

PS I am not posting this to ask for customers. I really do need to find out how to sell these bits.
